 1.5.2006 INTREPID MEDIA PROJECT LANDS NATIONAL WEB APPLICATION AWARD Award is Third National Nod for Niche Consulting Firm Chapel Hill, NC -- Intrepid Media Consulting announced today that its work with the City of Raleigh has produced an Honorable Mention from the Center for Digital Government. The honored application is RecLink, which allows City residents to search for, register for, and pay for Parks and Recreation classes online. It is a part of a greater effort that includes a web portal and content management system, electronic payment processing, and applications to allow citizens to pay their water bills online and contractors to pay for and acquire certain permits online. "One of the reasons we were brought into the City of Raleigh was to improve the City's standing in national merit programs such as those sponsored by the Center for Digital Government. As these results begin to come in, they are surpassing even our best expectations," said Joe Procopio, President and Founder of Intrepid Media.
