 8.10.2009 INTREPID MEDIA HIRES SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER Chapel Hill, NC —- Intrepid Media Inc., has named Ryan Rand Senior Project Manager. Rand joins the company as the fourth full-time hire along with four contractors. Rand comes to Intrepid Media Inc., with over 14 years of project management experience, including 9 years in technology, and holds a Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Previously, Rand managed large, complex projects, as well as several concurrent small projects for Wake County. Rand also spent several years as a project manager and business analyst in the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts. "Although our specialty is in technology-oriented companies, we do a lot of business in the public sector, helping bring their technology standards and systems up to date and even to the cutting edge," said Joe Procopio, President and Founder of Intrepid Media. "Bringing Ryan on board makes perfect sense. He has a wealth of experience implementing technology in a government setting, and can really lead initiatives, not just track them. I've worked with Ryan before, and he's never been anything short of impressive." Rand's specialties include PMO development, portfolio creation and management, business case development, functional and technical specification creation, quality assurance, deployment, and support. He will be working with several of Intrepid Media's clients, focusing on the company's public sector portfolio. |
