 8.8.2007 CED SELECTS INTREPID MEDIA FOR INVESTOR SPEED DATING AT OPPORTUNITY CONFERENCE New Products Generate Buzz Even Before Launch Chapel Hill, NC -- Intrepid Media Inc. has been selected to participate in a round of Investor Speed Dating at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development's 5th Annual Opportunity Conference in Wrightsville Beach, NC on September 10 and 11. The conference will feature expert speakers, concurrent panels, early-stage company presentations, consulting sessions, and workshops. The Investor Speed Dating session will allow Intrepid Media to pitch to several investors at once. "For the last six months, we've been developing four products based on our technology engine," said Joe Procopio, President and Founder of Intrepid Media. "We've got partnerships in place, beta systems up and running, and a full prototype in production. We were about a month away from announcing and launching at least three of the four, so the timing on this is perfect. And seriously, how many chances do you get to sit down across from twenty different people and ask for a million dollars? We're flattered to be selected." Announcements concerning the products will be made before the end of the year. In the meantime, Intrepid Media will focus on its consulting and publishing businesses, both of which have seen major gains in 2007.
